Cycle 2 – Module 1 – Lecture 1 – Hormone consultation and actual complaints

This session has all the information necessary for physicians to accomplish the 1st consultation and start establishing the diagnosis based on patient information obtained by sending before the consultation questionnaires on complaints of hormone deficiency and excess, and interviewing the patient during the consultation. Tips are given on how to interview better the patient and how to detect hormone deficiencies and excesses in the patient’s medical history and actual complaints. Complaints and medical history of hormone deficiencies and excesses in thyroid, cortisol, DHEA, aldosterone, pregnenolone, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, melatonin, growth hormone, IGF-1, vasopressin, oxytocin, insulin, MSH, and thymosin-alpha-1 are screened in this session.

Crucial information is given here on the best diet to optimize hormone levels and therapy, and advice to the patient on better food choices and food combinations. How to screen for pollutants and sleep = disturbances with a questionnaire and interview is discussed here.
