Cycle 2 – Module 5 – Lecture 4 – Centenarian hormone & nutritional levels (1h02)

This session delves into the remarkable longevity of centenarians, tracing their existence back over 2000 years ago, even noting the longevity of Greek poets. Mythic regions renowned for their high numbers of centenarians, such as those in Ecuador, Japan, Georgia, and Pakistan, are investigated. By analyzing the common characteristics of these regions, valuable insights are gleaned to help extend the lifespan of patients. The examination also includes insights into supercentenarians, further enriching our understanding of extreme longevity.

The session also explores observational studies of centenarians, focusing on their diets, micronutrient intake, and hormone statuses. From these studies, key lessons for life extension are drawn, providing practical guidance for viewers seeking to improve their own longevity and that of their patients.

As with previous lectures, this session provides practical information and actionable tips, empowering viewers to apply the acquired knowledge effectively.
