In this course, you will learn how to diagnose estrogen and progesterone deficiencies in women and their deleterious effects on disease development, including the potential risks associated with birth control pills. Specifically:

  • Understanding the frequency of female hormone deficiencies, especially in premenopausal women with ongoing menstrual cycles.
  • Diagnosing estrogen and progesterone deficiencies, including milder forms, using medical history, physical signs and symptoms, and laboratory tests.
  • Interpreting serum laboratory test results related to female hormone dysfunction accurately, including estradiol, estrone, progesterone, SHBG, prolactin, FSH, LH levels, etc.
  • Exploring the impact of female hormone deficiency and supplementation on somatic diseases.
  • Understanding scientific studies that support these concepts.
