This lecture will be centered on the next hormone deficiencies to think of as causing fatigue in patients, and what to do about them.
- You will learn to diagnose hormone deficiencies, such as growth hormone, IGF-1, thymosin-alpha-1, melatonin, and vasopressin deficiencies, and in women: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone deficiencies that cause fatigue by medical history, physical signs and symptoms of deficiency, and laboratory tests.
- You will become able by interviewing the patient to distinguish which hormone deficiency is causing each type of fatigue (exhaustion, lack of recovery, flu-like, sleep-deficient, whole day; menstrual and premenstrual fatigue.),
- You will learn to correct these hormone deficiencies, with hormone supplements at the adequate doses in hormone-deficient patients.
- You will get to know some of the scientific studies that support this information, including the double-blind placebo-controlled trials.
